This role is laser-focused on a specific, high-impact deliverable: architecting and building a centralized motion library for the Business Home design system, while also supporting individual motion projects as they arise. You'll be embedded in a collaborative, high-paced environment where speed, iteration, and responsiveness to feedback are critical to success.

Loading & Async States: Transform static loading moments into polished, responsive skeleton loaders, progress indicators, and state transitions.

Engineering Hand-Off: Deliver production-ready motion specs and assets (e.g., Lottie, Rive, CSS/JS specs) and partner directly with front-end and mobile engineers on high-fidelity implementation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with UX Designers, Visual Designers, Creative leads, and Engineering in a high-velocity, daily-standup environment spanning multiple time zones.

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated portfolio evidence of building a full motion library or motion design system for a platform; this is a critical requirement; please highlight this work prominently.

Experience working within large, scaled organizations with complex, multi-system design environments.

Strong understanding of web and mobile implementation constraints (CSS animation, SVG/Canvas, Lottie, iOS Motion, Android Jetpack Compose/MotionLayout).

Proficiency in industry-standard motion and design tools (e.g., After Effects, Figma, Lottie, Rive, ProtoPie, Principle, or Adobe CC) - tool-agnostic, but outputs must be immediately usable by both designers and engineers.

Ability to synthesize large amounts of feedback quickly and translate it into action, comfort in fast-paced, high-iteration environments is essential.

East Coast hours required to support a team spanning London, Zurich, New York, and Mountain View.
