Purpose of the Position:
To enhance data quality and deliver actionable insights through advanced analytics, reporting, and data visualization. The role supports business decision-making by ensuring reliable data, building dashboards, and collaborating with engineering and architecture teams to implement scalable data solutions.

Key Result Areas and Activities:
โ€ข    BI Solution Development and Delivery: Design, develop, and deliver robust business intelligence solutions, including dashboards and reports, that provide actionable insights to support strategic and operational decision-making
โ€ข    Data Integration and ETL Management: Develop and maintain efficient ETL workflows like Materialized Views in Microstrategy or any BI Tool to ensure accurate, timely, and quality data integration from various internal and external sources into the data warehouse or BI platforms.
โ€ข    Stakeholder Collaboration and Requirement Gathering: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical BI solutions, and provide ongoing support and training.
โ€ข    Optimization and Governance of BI Systems: Ensure continuous performance tuning, data quality assurance, and adherence to data governance policies to maintain the reliability, security, and scalability of BI platforms.

Work and Technical Experience:
โ€ข    Design and implement technical solutions and best practices to continuously enhance and maintain the enterprise-wide BI and reporting platform using Microstrategy or any BI Tool.
โ€ข    Familiarity with predictive analytics and AI-assisted insights in BI environment
โ€ข    Partner with diverse business functions including retail, e-commerce, wholesale, supply chain, and finance to gather requirements that support optimized, data-driven decision-making.
โ€ข    Actively collaborate with the Microstrategy or any BI Tool vendor team to promptly identify, address, and resolve any tool-related issues or challenges.
โ€ข    Lead the design and development of data models, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouse architecture to ensure seamless and efficient data integration from multiple sources.
โ€ข    Develop and maintain comprehensive business schema data models and documentation, establishing a clear and organized glossary of key metrics and attributes.
โ€ข    Employ rapid prototyping techniques to iterate solutions based on user feedback in an agile manner, ensuring alignment with business needs.
โ€ข    Leverage storytelling techniques to present analytics and insights in a clear, accessible, and memorable way for diverse audiences.
โ€ข    Adhere to best practices for creating scalable, enterprise-grade BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
โ€ข    Conduct data exploration to identify patterns, relationships, anomalies, and trends; collaborate with business teams to generate meaningful insights and fulfil analytical requests across different data formats and platforms.
โ€ข    Evaluate and enhance existing BI systems, reports, and dashboards for improved effectiveness and user experience.
 
Must Haves:
โ€ข    8+ years of experience as a BI Developer with recent hands-on experience in Microstrategy or any BI Tool
โ€ข    Knowledge of various programming languages, such as Python, SQL, and analytical tools, such as Spark
โ€ข    Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills.
โ€ข    Experience working in a global delivery model with effective onsite-offshore collaboration.
