As an Algorithms Senior Software Engineer, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities - from implementing system-level architecture updates to optimizing low-level code to maximize performance efficiency. This position is for a Software Engineer who has professional experience in the development and implementation of algorithm software for both large-scale HPC environments and highly optimized and performant real-time applications. What You Will Do * Work alongside scientists (physicists, mathematicians, signal processing experts, and more) to understand algorithm goals and limitations.
* Optimize software for performance, including parallel processing and leveraging GPUs and other processing accelerators.
* Utilize expertise in mathematics and physics to achieve optimal performance.
* Evolve algorithms originating in Python and MATLAB into optimized C, C++, and CUDA code.
* Model and test new algorithms in high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
* Scale processing implementations to run extensive tests and simulations using hundreds to thousands of processing cores.
* Architect, design, implement, test, and debug integrated real-time software within heterogenous systems.
* Work within a cross-discipline team to define, refine, and improve product concept, implementation, testability, and guaranteed, measurable quality.
