Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week
The Adobe Platforms Development Lead is a senior engineering leadership role responsible for driving the technical design, development, and delivery of integrated capabilities across Experience Digital Marketing team.
This leader partners closely with Product, Marketing, and Enterprise Technology to define and execute a multi-year roadmap that maximizes value from Adobe and related MarTech investments. The role ensures scalable, secure, and modern solutions that deliver seamless digital experiences across Insurance, Annuities, and Wealth Management businesses.
Success in this role requires deep Adobe expertise, strong cloud-native engineering leadership, and the ability to operate in a complex enterprise environment with multiple integrations and stakeholders.
What You'll Do:
Engineering Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team responsible for Adobe platforms and integrated digital experiences.
  • Translate business strategy into scalable, secure, and maintainable technology solutions.
  • Establish engineering standards across architecture, design reviews, code quality, testing, and DevOps.
  • Drive modernization through API-first, cloud-native, and microservices-based architectures.
  • Partner with Delivery Leads and Product Leaders to maintain a clear, outcome-driven roadmap.

Platform Architecture & Modernization
  • Lead architecture and delivery for Adobe Experience Manager and the broader Adobe stack (Campaign, Target, Analytics).
  • Oversee React-based front-end applications integrated with AEM and AWS backend services.
  • Guide the design of microservices and API integrations leveraging AWS and MuleSoft.
  • Ensure strong object-oriented design principles, scalable database modeling (Oracle, PostgreSQL), and documented architecture (UML, Confluence).
  • Drive CI/CD automation, resiliency patterns, performance optimization, accessibility, and cross-platform compatibility.
  • Establish a structured approach to reduce technical debt and improve system reliability and performance.

Integration & Experience Enablement
  • Oversee seamless integration of AEM with front-end applications, identity platforms, and internal core systems.
  • Enable personalization and experimentation using Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target.
  • Support high-volume personalization and omnichannel marketing activation.

Governance, Risk & Delivery Excellence
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security, cloud architecture, and governance standards.
  • Manage interdependencies, risks, and blockers across ARTs and value streams.
  • Oversee vendor partners and ensure high-quality technical contributions.
  • Champion Agile practices to improve predictability, velocity, and delivery transparency.
  • Align solutions across core administration, record-keeping, illustration engines, tax systems, and policy platforms.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years leading MarTech or enterprise marketing platforms.
  • Proven experience implementing and optimizing:

Strong hands-on background in:
  • Microservices architecture

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $119,000-$170,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
