Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Expert with a strong background in semiconductor machinery/equipment manufacturing. The candidate will lead quality improvement initiatives, drive root-cause analysis, implement corrective and preventive actions, and establish robust quality systems across manufacturing and supplier processes. The role requires expertise in advanced problem-solving methodologies, Six Sigma practices, and continuous improvement programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead quality improvement initiatives across manufacturing, assembly, testing, and supplier quality functions.
  • Drive complex problem-solving activities using structured methodologies such as 8D, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Analyze quality issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams to resolve customer complaints, field failures, and manufacturing quality concerns.
  • Apply Six Sigma Black Belt methodologies to improve process capability, reduce defects, and enhance product reliability.
  • Establish quality metrics, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement programs.
  • Conduct process audits, quality reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) activities by ensuring quality requirements are incorporated into design and manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customer support teams to improve overall product quality.
  • Train and mentor teams on quality tools and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, Supplier Quality, or Operational Excellence within the Semiconductor Equipment/Machinery industry.
  • Proven experience handling complex quality issues in precision manufacturing environments.
