Job description

  • Founded in 1977, All Flex Solutions is a leading provider of specialty flex and rigid flex printed circuits, flexible heaters, and value-added assemblies for mission- and life-critical applications. All Flex products can be found in many applications and markets, including medical, defense, aerospace, semiconductor, industrial and telecommunications.

    This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes. This position will also assist in the upkeep and repair of the building facilities. This position will report to the Facilities Director.

    Shift is Monday-Friday 7A-3:30P.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Use PLC, electrical and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair building and production equipment as needed.
    • Maintain physical property. This may include painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and large repairs to building and equipment.
    • Perform scheduled maintenance work and other preventative maintenance tasks.
    • Assist in new equipment installation and modifications of equipment as needed.
    • Maintain all walkways and entry areas of the facilities.
    • Assist Facilities Director in developing maintenance priorities.
    • Remain aware of personal safety requirements associated with each task. Wear personal safety eyewear and utilize other protective items as required for the task.
    • Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
    • Respond to safety concerns identified by the Safety Committee and other personnel in an efficient manner.

    Requirements:

    • High School diploma/GED required.
    • Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in industrial maintenance as well as formal training in electrical or a mechanical field.
    • Moderate electrical skills with an understanding of PLC's.
    • Must be able to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
    • Working knowledge of preventative maintenance needs to include electrical, plumbing, and mechanical skills.
    • Strong analytical and investigative skills, mature judgment. Must be a problem solver as well as an independent thinker.
    • Excellent communication and people skills are required as well as ability to take work direction.
    • This position requires an individual with great energy, in good physical condition and able to juggle multiple priorities.
    • Must be able to move equipment and furniture and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
    • Must be comfortable working with computers.

    We offer a competitivehourly rate in the $30 to$35/hr.range, based on experience and qualifications, along with annual bonus and profit-sharing opportunities tied to performance.
