Job Title: Semiconductor Maintenance Tech/Equipment Maintenance Technician

Job Duration: Full-Time Role (Direct Placement)

Job Location: Chandler, AZ (Relocation assistance available for top candidates)


Role Overview

We are hiring Equipment Maintenance Technicians to support high-volume semiconductor manufacturing operations. This role involves performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on advanced semiconductor fabrication equipment across multiple process areas.
Technicians will be responsible for ensuring tool uptime, reliability, and performance while working in a cleanroom environment and collaborating with cross-functional engineering and production teams.

 

Core Responsibilities

·       Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor equipment

·       Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and vacuum systems

·       Diagnose equipment alarms, analyze operational data, and implement corrective actions

·       Execute consumable changes and sustain tool performance

·       Apply root cause analysis to resolve complex equipment issues

·       Follow all cleanroom and safety protocols, including handling hazardous chemicals

·       Maintain accurate documentation and support training activities when required

·       Work collaboratively with internal teams to meet production and reliability goals

 

Key Skills & Environment

·       Strong understanding of SPC, 5S, and FDC systems

·       Experience in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing (fab environment)

·       Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

·       Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

·       Comfortable working 12-hour shifts in cleanroom conditions

·       Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in confined spaces
