As a Diffusion Process Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for developing and optimizing diffusion deposition processes in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will lead efforts to improve product quality, reliability, and yield, while driving cost reduction and productivity improvements. This role involves resolving manufacturing line issues, qualifying new processes and materials, and collaborating with suppliers and multi-functional teams to meet quality and risk management objectives. You will apply structured problem-solving methodologies such as failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, and SPC to support continuous improvement and technology development.
Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize deposition, anneal and reflow processes to improve yield, quality, and cost.
Identify and resolve process-related issues using structured problem-solving tools.
Lead process, equipment, and material evaluations and implement changes at the process step.
Support new process baseline qualifications and ensure alignment with sister fabs.
Collaborate with suppliers to meet quality, cost, and risk management goals.
Maintain detailed documentation of process findings, characterizations, and risk assessments.
Participate in yield improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 years of related experience as a Diffusion Process Engineer in the Semiconductor industry.
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
Ability to leverage AI tools to efficiently complete assigned tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with furnaces KOKUSAI, TEL and Single wafer equipment - Blujay, XP8, TEL NT333 preferred
Process Optimization/Development experience preferred within the Diffusion Process space in the semiconductor industry
Experience in creating AI Agents , AI Assistants
