We are currently looking for Operations Attendants to join our Laval location.

Your Role Facility Preparation and Ceremony Support
  • Prepare visitation rooms, chapels, and reception areas before families arrive;
  • Set up visitation rooms and chapels according to operational requirements;
  • Arrange floral displays and other items required for ceremonies;
  • Assist with the transfer and presentation of the deceased in accordance with established procedures;
  • Receive deliveries of supplies, urns, deceased individuals, and other operational materials;
  • Prepare cremated remains for transfer to external cemeteries, transfer ashes into urns and keepsakes, and ensure all required follow-ups are completed.
Facility Maintenance
  • Maintain the mausoleum, columbariums, and other common areas;
  • Ensure the cleanliness of visitation rooms, chapels, reception rooms, offices, washrooms, and common areas;
  • Clean and disinfect floors, windows, doors, walls, furniture, and other surfaces;
  • Vacuum carpets, wash floors, and perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and welcoming environment;
  • Empty waste bins and replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels;
  • Maintain the coffee station and employee and family common areas;
  • Perform any other related duties that contribute to providing exceptional service to families.

  • Availability to work a minimum of six (6) days within a fourteen (14)-day period, including every other weekend, based on operational needs.
Working Conditions
  • Casual on-call (surnumerary) position, ideal for students, semi-retired individuals, or anyone looking for supplemental income;
  • $25.61/hour, in accordance with the collective agreement;
  • Comprehensive training provided upon hire;
