RQ Construction está buscando candidatos a Obrero General de Concreto para unirse a nuestro nuevo equipo de Auto-Performance en proyectos de construcción ubicados en Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Trabajando dentro de un equipo de miembros del equipo, el Concrete General Laborer es responsable de realizar tareas que implican trabajo físico en obras de construcción utilizando herramientas manuales y eléctricas de todo tipo. Esta posición también puede ayudar a otros trabajadores artesanales en sus deberes, mientras que también la limpieza y preparación de sitios, cavar zanjas, colocación de tirantes para el apoyo, el montaje de andamios, la limpieza de escombros y escombros, y la eliminación de otros materiales de desecho no peligrosos. Además, este puesto puede manejar uno o varios tipos de equipos de construcción motorizados, así como reparar y mantener todos los equipos según proceda. Esto debe hacerse mientras se implementan las prácticas de seguridad requeridas en apoyo de la Misión, Visión y Valores de RQ.

EDUCACIÓN Y EXPERIENCIA:

  • La educación formal mínima preferida para este puesto es un diploma de bachillerato o GED.
  • Dos (2) o más años (o equivalente) de experiencia en el campo o el comercio de trabajo en un entorno comercial, o las operaciones de las instalaciones se desea, pero no es necesario; gobierno anterior, militar, o la experiencia de construcción comercial de gran deseada. Preferible experiencia en hormigón/ICF.
  • Habilidades bilingües español-inglés deseable.
  • Se requieren certificaciones de CPR (RCP) y Primeros Auxilios (se proporcionará capacitación si es necesario).

RQ Construction is seeking Concrete General Labor candidates to join our new Self-Perform team on construction projects located in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Working within a crew of team members, the Concrete General Laborer is responsible for performing tasks that involve physical labor at construction sites using hand and power tools of all types. This position may also assist other craft workers in their duties, while also cleaning and preparing sites, digging trenches, setting braces for support, erecting scaffolding, cleaning up rubble and debris, and removing other non-hazardous waste materials. In addition, this position may operate one or several types of power construction equipment, as well as repairing and maintaining all equipment as appropriate. This is to do be done while implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

We have a national and international presence spanning coast to coast, including U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and now, Puerto Rico. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • A high school diploma or GED is the preferred minimum formal education for this position.
  • Two (2) or more years' (or equivalent) field or trade work experience in a commercial, or facilities operations setting is desired, but not required; prior government, military, or large commercial construction experience desired. Concrete/ICF experience preferred.
  • Spanish-English bilingual skills desirable.
  • CPR and First Aid Certifications required (training provided if needed).
