A self defense instructor teaches individuals how to protect themselves in dangerous situations through physical techniques, situational awareness, and mental preparedness. They demonstrate and explain various self defense moves, such as blocks, strikes, and escapes, and guide students through practice drills. Instructors also educate about safety strategies, legal considerations, and confidence-building. Their goal is to help students feel empowered and equipped to handle potential threats.

What does a typical class structure look like for a self defense instructor, and how do they tailor sessions for different skill levels?

A Self Defense Instructor typically starts classes with a warm-up, followed by fundamental techniques and scenario-based drills. Instructors assess participants' skill levels and adjust instruction accordingly, offering modifications for beginners and advanced variations for experienced students. Classes may also include discussions on situational awareness and personal safety.
