Job description

Sr QA Engineer
Expert Technical Solutions has an outstanding opportunity for a Sr QA Engineer with an Award Winning, industry leading company in Peachtree Corners, GA. This person will take ownership of quality from database to UI. This is not a manual-only role and not a remote position. You’ll be embedded with engineering, working hands-on with modern testing frameworks, Azure infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure we ship reliable, scalable software. This person will report to the CTO and will be a part of a growing technology team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Initial expectations will be centered around learning the software and process through manual testing and training sessions.
  • Own quality strategy across web services, APIs, and data layers
  • Design, build, and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end)
  • Deeply test SQL databases (data validation, performance, integrity, edge cases)
  • Validate Azure-based systems including deployments, configurations, and integrations
  • Work directly with developers in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
  • Identify gaps in test coverage and proactively close them
  • Participate in architecture and design discussions to catch issues before code ships
  • Debug production issues with engineering and provide root-cause analysis
  • Strong desire to learn, to experiment, and to share knowledge with others
Technical Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or comparable Technical Degree); equivalent work experience will be considered
  • 5+ years of professional QA experience (not junior, not hybrid-only)
  • Strong experience with Azure (SQL, pipelines, environments)
  • Expert-level knowledge of SQL databases (queries, joins, data validation, performance testing)
  • Hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks, such as:
  • Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar
  • API testing tools (Postman, REST-assured, etc.)
  • CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and release management
  • Comfortable working 100% on-site in Peachtree Corners, GA
Preferred Skills:
  • Performance and load testing experience
  • Experience testing distributed or enterprise systems
  • Background in logistics, ERP, or data-heavy platforms
  • Ability to write scripts or lightweight tooling (C#, Python, or similar)
