Job Description Position Title: Software Test Engineer Clearance Required: Active Secret clearance Work Location: Full-time, onsite in Huntsville, AL Overview: We are seeking a versatile and experienced Software Test Engineer to support advanced software development efforts in a dynamic Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute test procedures to verify software requirements and features Design and configure complex test scenarios Produce detailed test documentation and reports Collaborate with stakeholders and government customers to validate system requirements Actively participate in Agile development events, including PI Planning, Iteration Planning, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives Support team and program-level demos and reviews Required Qualifications: Proficiency in C++/C, Java, Python or Shell Scripting Experience with GitLab/Git for software configuration management Proficiency with Selenium and/or Playwright Proficiency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Hands on experience, creating, running, and debugging automated tests. Ability to work full-time onsite Active Secret clearance Desired Qualifications (Nice to Have): Experience with test automation or analysis automation Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology Java development experience, particularly in user interface development Experience using Jira or similar Agile project management tools Knowledge of multi-core and multi-threaded programming Familiarity with MDA sensors and missile defense systems Experience with modeling and simulation tools Experience with network programming (UDP, TCP/IP, message generation/formatting).
