Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer specializing in functional testing with a strong background in Trading or Finance domains. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of trading systems, financial applications, and data pipelines involving SQL DB2 and Kafka.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts focusing on functional testing of trading and financial systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and define comprehensive test strategies.
  • Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test data to ensure coverage of trading workflows, financial transactions, and data integrity.
  • Conduct regression, integration, and end-to-end testing using automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, REST Assured).
  • Monitor and analyze system behavior using logs, SQL queries, and Kafka message streams to validate system performance and data flow.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, coordinating with development teams for timely resolution.
  • Automate tests for APIs, messaging queues, and database validation involving DB2 and Kafka.
  • Optimize test automation frameworks, improve test coverage, and enhance CI/CD integration.
  • Generate detailed test reports, metrics, and insights on system quality, stability, and data accuracy.
