more than 30 IT Staffing Services contracts across USA and working
closely with Fortune 500 Companies and Key Private sector Agencies. We
are providing staffing support to more than 10 State Customers across USA
and have successfully staffed for more than 260 roles in last 6 months.

Job Description

Position Title: Lead DevOps Architect
Location: Miramar, FL
Local Required: LOCAL ONLY (already w/in commuting distance)
Client: Entertainment/ Lodging
Duration: long term contract
Interview Type: phone + F2F

Qualifications

MUST HAVE:

  • 3-5 years design and implementation of Continuous Delivery and/or DevOps solutions or architecture patterns.
  • Hands on Technical experience with:
    • AWS (Amazon Web Services)
    • Mesosphere middleware
  • 3-5 years managing an IT Operations environment
  • 3-5 years' hands on experience with code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment & management using tools like Jenkins, SVN, Get, Chef, Ensile, Art factory, Service Now, Sonar, Selenium
  • 5+ years of experience with approaches and tooling for automated build, delivery and release of software
  • 5+ years' experience with managing teams including progress monitoring and reporting
  • 5+ year of experience working in an Agile delivery environment
  • 5+ year of experience with Linux (writing shell scripts)
  • 3+ years' experience in automation scripting using one or more of the following languages:
    • Java
    • Perl
    • Ruby
    • Python
  • Expert troubleshooting skills

NICE TO HAVE:

  • 5 years of DevOps leadership and transformation experience
  • Familiarity of Application or Environment Monitoring tools (ex: Dynatrace)
  • Candidate should have experience leading a multi-disciplinary teams, working in a fast paced, high velocity agile environment
  • The use of Public/Private cloud and Virtualization Technologies
  • Working experience of at least one of digital middleware technology stacks (Mesosphere, Apigee, Cassandra, Kafka, Solr)
  • Working experience of Microservices and Mobile application development
  • Familiarity of implementation of Identity Access Management (IAM) tools and Captive Portal
  • Working experience of latest Digital technology innovations and transformation
  • Familiarity of Master and client architecture implementations (Jenkins, Puppet)
  • Familiarity of Adobe Analytics and Adobe Content Management (Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Experience with project or program management [Optional]
  • Ability to work with multiple teams, recommend architecture industry best practices and Architecture Governance
  • Defining and managing the roadmap for implementation of DevOps in an established operation.
  • Working within a structured environment, including the use of structured methods and approaches and modern development tools.
  • Experience of technical architecture - i.e. the design and delivery of IT systems for a broad range of clients
  • Service support - the use of DevOps, Continuous Delivery and ITIL concepts to lead an effective support operation
  • In-depth knowledge of technology trends and standards, both from a business and technical viewpoints.
  • Certifications in AWS or Azure highly preferred
