9th Way Insignia is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Enterprise Acquisition Systems Service (EASS) under the Electronic Contract Management System (eCMS) System Integration & Operational Support Services (SI/OSS) program.

Responsibilities

  • Detail-oriented Functional Tester with over 5 years of experience in testing C# and .NET-based applications across web and enterprise environments. Strong expertise in analyzing business and technical requirements, designing comprehensive test scenarios, and executing functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Experienced in using Azure DevOps for test case management, defect tracking, build pipelines, and collaboration within Agile/Scrum team. Well-versed in integrating automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous testing as part of the build and release workflows. Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps for test planning, defect tracking, backlog management, and collaboration with Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, document, and track defects through to resolution while working closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders. Known for strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering reliable, user-focused solutions withing tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in working with Selenium WebDriver for test acutomation and validation of web applications, with a solid understanding of test frameworks and automated test execution.
  • Strong experience in API testing using Swagger/OpenAPI specifications to validated RESTful services, including request/response verification, authentication, status code validation, and negative testing. Proficient in automating API tests using C# libraries and integrating API validations with Selenium-based UI tests for end-to-end coverage.
  • Complements automation expertise with focused manual testing such as exploratory testing, regression testing, and UAT support to ensure overall application quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field; or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
