Position Summary

Warehouse Order Pullers are responsible for filling customer orders and delivering them to the loading dock accurately and efficiently. The Order Puller ensures that every order meets the company’s standards for quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Attention to detail, consistency, and knowledge of our products are essential to provide customers exactly what they expect.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Locate and accurately pull orders according to pick tickets (minimum 130 pieces/hour, 150 pieces/hour average)
  • Stage completed orders on the dock for shipping
  • Load checked orders onto trucks as needed
  • Pull and prepare shorted items when assigned
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of pulled product (double-check quantity and condition)
  • Follow proper truck loading and unloading procedures
  • Follow inventory procedures, including FIFO (First In, First Out)
  • Clean and maintain warehouse, including coolers, floors, dock areas, and trash
  • Communicate with supervisors and warehouse team members regarding operational issues
  • Identify and suggest ways to improve productivity
  • Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all HACCP, SQF, and OSHA regulations

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic math skills and reading comprehension
  • Food Handlers Card is a plus (not required)
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to work for extended periods in cold environments
  • Able to frequently lift 50–75 lbs

Education & Experience

  • More than 2 years of warehouse or food distribution experience preferred
