About the Role

As SEG Solar continues to grow in the solar industry, we’re looking for a Logistics Specialist to support our Supply Chain department. If you’re passionate about building a greener future, excited to grow professionally, and thrive in a team-oriented setting, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and manage international shipping documentation such as Bill of Lading (BL), Commercial Invoices (CI), Packing Lists (PL), and customs declarations including Importer Security Filing (ISF) and Automated Export System (AES).
  • Coordinate and monitor inbound shipments to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery across multiple transportation modes.
  • Manage relationships and performance of logistics service providers and freight forwarders, identifying systemic operational issues and implementing corrective actions to improve service quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and finance teams to develop and optimize inter- and intra-company logistics processes, drive waste reduction and process efficiency improvements.
  • Define, track, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations to internal and external stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex international logistics challenges, proactively monitor shipment statuses, resolve delays, and manage shipment exceptions.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT), International Air Transport Association (IATA), International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) regulations, international trade laws, customs requirements, and internal policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business (preferred)
  • 5+ years previous experience in logistics management or coordination
  • Ability to work with cross-functional and multi-cultural teams
  • Proficient in logistics software, ERP systems, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and MS
  • Office applications
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure
  • Experience in international logistics and international trade with working knowledge of import
  • regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures
  • Experience managing customs brokers and third-party trade-related service providers
  • Experience defining and tracking logistics KPIs and using data for continuous improvement
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Chinese) is a plus
