Responsibilities
As a senior integration engineer within the HR Technology Tech Pod, you will design, develop, deploy, and support data integrations and APIs across Citizens Bank's HR technology ecosystem. You will work across Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Snowflake, AWS, and 20+ vendor applications to ensure reliable, secure, and compliant HR data flows. You will participate in quarterly Oracle platform releases, drive the AWS data migration initiative, build modern data access applications, and provide production incident response for mission-critical HR systems.
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for:
  • Designing, building, and maintaining Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) jobs, REST/SOAP APIs, and BI Publisher (BIP) reports that move HR data between Oracle HCM/ORC and downstream systems (SailPoint, ServiceNow, BLOC, Fuel50, Equifax, Icertis, and others).
  • Engineering the HR Data Transformation initiative - migrating the HR Datahub from on-premises Oracle to AWS (S3/Snowflake), including SFTP-to-S3 file transmission migration via Seeburger, data comparison/validation across environments, and production stabilization post-cutover.
  • Managing the integration engineering aspects of Oracle's quarterly release cycle (26A-26D) across DEV1/DEV2/UAT/PROD environments - reviewing release notes for integration impacts, transferring VBS configurations, performing SIT and ORC integration testing, and providing cutover support.
  • Developing modern data access applications using Snowflake and Streamlit (Python), including large-scale data archival solutions (1M+ attachment migrations), front-end interfaces for legal/compliance inquiry access, and internal reporting tools.
  • Owning the integration layer for Oracle Recruiting Cloud and its vendor ecosystem - 2-Way Messaging (Twilio SMS, Azure/O365 Email), Paradox chatbot API management, HireVue SSO/T2O integrations, and Radancy XML job feed transmissions.
  • Managing the lifecycle of SSL certificates, DKIM keys, PGP encryption keys, Azure Application Client Secrets, and OIC API Gateway certificates across all environments, coordinating with Venafi, Oracle Support, Middleware, and external vendors.
  • Performing quarterly Non-Human Account (NHA) password resets for 15+ service accounts driven by CyberArk compliance policy, and managing post-refresh validation of UAT/DEV environments.
  • Coordinating with Enterprise Data Organization (EDO) and Oracle Functional Services (OFS/Infosys) on process migrations - converting SFTP-based file delivery to OIC SFTP, rewriting stored procedures to Oracle Business Objects, and executing end-to-end migration testing.
  • Investigating and resolving production defects - API failures, SMS outages, BI Publisher report issues, environment connectivity failures, and data discrepancy remediation requiring same-day resolution.
  • Providing engineering analysis and implementation support for strategic initiatives including GCC India offshore onboarding, Redwood UI migration, and Oracle HCM Enhanced Address Validation downstream impact analysis.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in integration engineering, middleware development, or enterprise application development
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) - job design, lookup/business object configuration, scheduling, and error handling
  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle HCM Cloud or Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) - BIP reports, PVO extracts, REST APIs, HDL loaders
  • Strong SQL skills - Oracle PL/SQL and/or Snowflake SQL for data comparison, validation queries, and stored procedure analysis
  • Experience with REST/SOAP API development, including OAuth 2.0, API Gateway management (F5), and IMAP integration
  • Experience with file transfer protocols - SFTP, PGP encryption/decryption, Seeburger/BIS or equivalent managed file transfer platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to manage 10+ concurrent workstreams across different release cadences
