Job Summary:

As a Security Systems Technician I at Active Security, you will launch your career in electronic security by performing hands-on installations, maintenance, and repairs of advanced C5ISR and security systems designed to enhance defense and counter diverse threats. This entry-level role, involving regular local travel, is ideal for candidates eager to develop technical expertise while gaining experience in high-security environments, supporting commercial and U.S. Government clients.


Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • System Installation & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain complex security systems components and infrastructure.
  • Basic Troubleshooting & Support: Perform initial troubleshooting and conduct tests on security systems to verify functionality.
  • Customer Interaction: Assist in providing operational training and support to clients.
  • Documentation: Complete required job documentation and ensure compliance with industry and internal standards such as ISO-9001, CMMI II, and DCAA.


Qualifications:

  • Education & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; ability to work in a team environment.
  • Experience: Previous experience with network-based systems preferred, but not required.
  • Professional Development: Commitment to learning industry trends and advancements and maintain familiarity with compliance standards.
