These systems typically include components such as alarms, surveillance cameras, motion detectors, access control systems, and monitoring services. Security systems can be used in residential, commercial, and industrial settings to deter intruders, monitor activities, and alert authorities in case of emergencies. Modern security systems often feature smart technology, allowing users to control and monitor their security remotely via smartphones or computers.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a security systems technician?
