Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Security Systems Foreman / Lead Technician to lead and perform installation, testing, commissioning, service, and troubleshooting of physical security systems. The ideal candidate will have strong security system technical expertise, a positive can-do attitude and solid communication skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise technicians on security system installation projects.
  • Install, test, commission, service, and troubleshoot access control, video surveillance, intercom, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Install and properly terminate security panels, cameras, locking devices, door contacts, motion sensors and related equipment.
  • Read and interpret architectural and security plans and specifications.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, wiring, and system programming deficiencies.
  • Coordinate with customers, contractors, project managers, and other trades.
  • Ensure all work meets applicable codes, safety requirements, customer specifications, and industry standards.
  • Maintain project deliverables in accordance schedules while ensuring quality and professional workmanship.
  • Provide technical guidance, training and support to other technicians.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial security systems, with lead technician or foreman experience preferred.
  • Strong experience with access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection/burglar alarm systems.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Experience with low-voltage wiring, panel termination, and security hardware.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical documentation.
  • Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines.
  • Professional, dependable, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.


Preferred Experience

Experience with some or all of the following systems is preferred: Genetec, Lenel-S2, Brivo, AMAG, , Axis, Hanwha, and Aiphone.


Florida Security License

Certified Alarm System Contractor I or II is preferred but not required.
