Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Database Developer to design, develop, and maintain efficient database solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL development, reporting tools, and database administration, ensuring the integrity, security, and performance of our data systems.
Pay: $35 - 40 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain relational and non-relational databases.
  • Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions for data processing.
  • Develop and optimize reports using Crystal Reports and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with ODBC connections to integrate databases with various applications.
  • Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data integration.
  • Optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs.
  • Implement data backup, recovery, and archiving strategies.
  • Develop and maintain VB scripts for database automation and integration tasks.
  • Work with cloud databases (AWS, Azure, GCP) as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Database Developer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or similar).
  • Experience with Crystal Reports and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • Strong understanding of ODBC configurations and data connections.
  • Proficiency in VB (Visual Basic) for database-related tasks.
  • Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing.
  • Familiarity with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google BigQuery, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
