Overview
IPG Photonics Corporation, the leader in high-power fiber lasers and amplifiers used in materials processing and other diverse applications is looking for a Project Manager who will facilitate the delivery of a multitude of IT-related projects by working with a staff of highly talented professionals from ERP Applications Support, Infrastructure/ Networking, and Security teams. In this role, you will strive to keep the team productive and organized by building and managing a realistic schedule; and facilitating and fostering communication within and across teams.
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Create detailed project plans, communication plans, and all standard project documentation to ensure the project team's organization.
  • Conduct weekly project meetings to ensure deadlines are met and the projects are on target.
  • Leading cross-functional & cross-regional teams when required
  • Escalate issues and risks to appropriate stakeholders and work to resolve
  • Create weekly status reports of projects for Management Review
  • Work with Resource Managers to ensure resources for the project team are secured
  • Being able to translate the business needs into technical needs
  • Effective communication with production and manufacturing departments to ensure proactive support and administration, including support for new product
  • Builds and maintains positive customer relationships; meets customer needs
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills to convey competence to end-to-end understanding
  • Ability to document current functionality and process flows, and suggest areas for improvement

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in IT
  • 3 Years of Project Management experience or PPM certification
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience implementing CRM, ERP, and manufacturing systems
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment and business system analysis
  • Experience with Infrastructure and Security project management
  • Adept Excel, Word, and VISIO experience
  • MS Project or other project management tool experience
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and strong attention to details
