Job description

Job Overview: The Equipment Specialist III independently supports PM ICO programs at Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, Georgia. This position serves as a technical logistics contributor, integrating equipment data, provisioning, supply-chain activities, and readiness information to help ensure fielded systems remain supportable and mission-ready. Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Independently resolve routine-to-complex logistics issues, coordinate across product-management and technical teams, and provide technical guidance to junior specialists as assigned.
* Collect, analyze, and interpret equipment-specific and supply-chain data to support life-cycle management decisions.
* Participate in provisioning conferences, installation assessments, task analysis, training-development efforts, and systems-engineering events.
* Develop, review, and update technical artifacts and logistics documentation in CATALYST and the Total Force Structure Management System (TFSMS).
* Support supply-chain management requests, warranty support procedures, engineering change proposal reviews, integrated master schedules, risk reports, and logistics products.
* Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records for Government Furnished Property, spare parts, and equipment sent to or from Fleet Marine Force and OEM locations for repair or calibration.
* Extract and analyze reports from GCSS-MC, TDM-Catalyst, and L-DART; identify discrepancies and recommend corrective action.
* Coordinate calibration activities and support detailed pre-fielding inventories, including documentation of components not delivered with a system.
* Support timely responses to field requests, generally within 72 hours, and maintain required access to SIPRNet and other approved systems.

* At least 8 years of experience as an Equipment Specialist, Logistics Analyst, or in a related technical role.
* Demonstrated experience with military or industrial equipment, technical manuals, provisioning documentation, and logistics or supply-chain management systems.
* Ability to analyze technical and supply-chain data, identify discrepancies, and develop clear corrective-action recommendations.
* Experience participating in technical conferences, project meetings, systems-engineering events, or engineering change proposal reviews.
* Active Secret security clearance required.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Common Access Card and required system accounts.
