Position Overview
The Security Project Manager (SPM) is responsible for the overall management and
performance of security operations at their assigned construction project site. This includes
supervision of all assigned security personnel, ensuring compliance with company and
client standards, and maintaining strong working relationships with client representatives.
The SPM ensures operational excellence, adherence to safety requirements, and consistent
delivery of professional and reliable service.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Oversight & Leadership
• Supervise and manage all assigned security staff, ensuring adherence to FCS policies,
procedures, and client expectations.
• Maintain 100% post coverage through effective scheduling and staffing management.
• Monitor overtime levels and implement strategies to maintain profitability within
contract guidelines.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development for Supervisors and
Officers.
• Conduct daily and weekly post inspections, safety checks, and compliance reviews.
• Ensure all officers receive proper onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training. Track
expirations of required licensures (DPSST/CPR) and ensure compliance.
• Address HR issues and concerns timely such as PRD's, PTO, complaints, etc.
Client Relationship Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all client-related communication and
operational matters.
• Foster strong, professional relationships with site management and client
representatives.
• Attend and participate in client safety meetings, briefings, and planning sessions as
required.
