Information Security Program Manager

The Information Security Program Manager plans, manages, and leads multiple Information Security teams including SOC, Security Architecture & Engineering, Governance & Compliance, and Security Awareness & Training. This role oversees strategic planning, budgets, staffing, performance management, security initiatives, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Security Operations Center (SOC), Security Architecture & Engineering, Governance & Compliance, and Security Awareness & Training teams
  • Develop strategic plans, operating/capital budgets, goals, and priorities
  • Lead hiring, workforce planning, coaching, and performance management
  • Oversee software/hardware selection and implementation for security programs
  • Coordinate policies, standards, compliance efforts, and cross-functional security initiatives
  • Track KPIs, resolve escalations, manage resource constraints, and report program status to leadership
  • Prepare presentations for decision-makers and stakeholders and ensure effective vendor management
  • Provide knowledge transfer
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree with 7+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing staff
  • Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or equivalent
  • ISACA CGEIT and CISM certifications
  • Experience with frameworks and compliance standards such as NIST, CJIS, HIPAA, ISO, GDPR, and FISMA
  • Strong experience with IT governance systems
  • Strong experience in cybersecurity, risk frameworks, and compliance
