Overview
Rapiscan, an OSI Systems Company is seeking a Senior Program Manager, based out of Billerica, MA.
Rapiscan Systems, an OSI Systems, Inc. company, designs, manufactures and markets security and inspection systems worldwide. Our products are used to inspect baggage, cargo, people, vehicles and other objects for weapons, explosives, drugs and other contraband. Rapiscan Systems security and inspection devices can be found in a wide range of locations such as airports, border crossings, railway stations, seaports and terminals, government and military installations, and nuclear facilities.
Responsibilities
  • Overall accountability and responsibility for the execution of Mobile, Handheld, Cargo and Trace revenue programs against company plans and objectives, contractual obligations and requirements, and key customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with engineering to translate customer requirements into actionable BOMs.
  • Manage the release of goods for shipment or pickup after all internal and external requirements are met.
  • Work closely with other departments leading assigned project teams.
  • Control the costs and scope of proposals submitted to customers to ensure they can be successfully executed to internal and external requirements.
  • Communicate risks, areas of concern, and overall recommendations (from a Program Management execution standpoint) to Senior Management.
  • Interact and work closely with customer contacts and with Account Management concerning senior engagements.
  • Provide weekly and monthly updates to the current year forecast against plan, quarterly ETC/EAC reporting at summary and detailed levels.

  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications
  • BS/BA in Engineering, Science or Business - preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate - preferred
  • 4 plus years working on customer funded programs in a capital equipment company
  • Experience executing US Government capital equipment contracts a plus
  • Strong communications skills and ability to work effectively with different cultures and functional groups
  • Ability to lead (by influence) cross-functional teams
  • Domestic travel will be required: upwards of 25%
  • International travel may be required; upwards of 5%

Pay may range from $120,000 to $140,000 annually
The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.
Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for long-term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP). OSI also offers comprehensive benefits including various options for health plans, access to 401(k) retirement plan, health savings account, disability insurance, life insurance, AD&D insurance, leave of absence programs and an array of voluntary benefits. In addition, paid time off is offered to be used for vacation, holidays, bereavement, and jury duty. Full-Time salaried employees are entitled to flexible time-off.
