Job description

Overview
DecisionPoint seeks a Program Manager to lead a long-term Department of Defense (DoD) enterprise IT and cybersecurity support program. This position provides strategic, contractual, and operational leadership for a multi-disciplinary team delivering IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity readiness, and mission assurance services across a large defense enterprise.
The Program Manager will oversee project execution, resource allocation, and quality control in alignment with DoD and Army cybersecurity standards, ensuring all performance and compliance objectives are achieved on schedule and within budget.
This position is onsite at HSV - Redstone Arsenal.
*Please Note: This requisition is contingent upon contract award.*
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary management interface with government stakeholders and contracting representatives.
  • Direct all program operations, including staffing, quality assurance, and performance reporting.
  • Oversee IT service delivery, cybersecurity readiness assessments, and infrastructure sustainment activities.
  • Manage schedule, risk, and performance metrics to ensure on-time delivery of contract requirements.
  • Supervise task leads and ensure effective coordination across technical and functional areas.
  • Review deliverables and contract data reports to maintain accuracy and compliance with performance standards.
  • Ensure adherence to DoD cybersecurity, RMF, and configuration management frameworks.
  • Conduct program reviews and develop executive-level briefings and progress reports.
  • Foster innovation, efficiency, and continuous process improvement within the program team.

Qualifications
Clearance Requirement:
Active Secret clearance required.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT or program management within a defense or federal contracting environment.
  • Proven success managing large-scale, firm-fixed-price contracts and technical teams.
  • Experience overseeing IT service delivery and cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Desired: Experience in space and missile defense.

Certifications:
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) required.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation or equivalent preferred.
  • DoD 8570 baseline certification (e.g., Security+ CE) preferred.

Skills:
  • Demonstrated leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Strong understanding of DoD governance, cybersecurity, and IT service management frameworks.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
