We do this by aligning the voice of our small business members with advocacy for change in federal policy that will make the government market more accessible to small businesses and the commercial technology ecosystem.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Department Security Coordinator (DSC) to join our team!

Responsibilities: 
The DSC monitors and assist with administration of security programs to ensure all security requirements are implemented. The DSC reports noncompliance issues to the appropriate Security Program Manager and Security Officer.  Duties include: 
  • Perform security briefing for GOV personnel on an ongoing basis. 
  • Maintain access to security classification guides, security manuals, and security directives for department personnel. 
  • Track security equipment including: 
  • security containers 
  • copiers 
  • shredders 
  • Conduct periodic physical audits and spot checks for compliance with security program requirements and report results/findings. 
  • Maintain Building Officer (BO) point of contact lists. 
  • Support department access control and visit control database. 
  • Assist with destruction or transfer of classified information as required. 

Qualifications: 
  • Basic knowledge of DoD and DON security regulations. 
  • Secret Security Clearance Required 
  • Background experience on the program is required
