Security Operations Supervisor – Tampa, FL


Position Overview

Hawque Protection Group (HPG) is seeking a Security Operations Supervisor to support operations across multiple client sites in the Tampa area.

This is a field-based leadership role responsible for overseeing unarmed security personnel, ensuring site coverage, maintaining service quality, and supporting client needs.

This position is part of HPG’s Florida market expansion, with a projected start timeline within the next 3–4 months.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise unarmed security personnel across multiple sites
  • Ensure all shifts are covered and respond to call-offs or coverage gaps
  • Conduct site visits and audits to ensure post order compliance
  • Review daily reports and incident documentation for accuracy
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to staff
  • Serve as a point of contact for client needs and site concerns
  • Support compliance with Florida licensing and company standards


Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of security, supervisory, or related experience
  • Active Florida Class “D” Security License or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between sites
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed


Compensation

  • $50,000 – $60,000 annually
    (Equivalent to approximately $22–$26/hour)


Work Environment
