Job Description Security Technology Analyst We are seeking a Security Technology Analyst to support the day-to-day operation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the organization's cybersecurity technologies and processes. This role is responsible for maintaining security platforms, monitoring and responding to security events, coordinating vulnerability remediation, supporting identity and access management, and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to strengthen the organization's security posture. Key Responsibilities Administer, configure, monitor, and maintain security technologies, including SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewalls, identity platforms, and vulnerability management tools.

Monitor security events, investigate alerts, support incident response activities, and implement approved containment measures. Conduct vulnerability assessments, validate findings, prioritize risks, and coordinate remediation efforts. Support identity and access management processes, including user provisioning, access reviews, SSO, MFA, and privileged access management.

Develop automation scripts, maintain technical documentation, and improve operational processes. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support security operations, system enhancements, and issue resolution. Prepare reports and metrics on security operations, incidents, vulnerabilities, and technology performance.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of four (4) years of experience in information security, security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, identity and access management, or a related cybersecurity function. Hands-on experience administering and supporting security technologies such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewalls, identity platforms, and vulnerability management tools.

Experience with security monitoring, log analysis, incident investigation, vulnerability remediation, and identity and access management processes. Proficiency in scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, Shell, or similar programming languages. Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, cloud security, and cybersecurity principles and best practices.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Professional security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, SSCP, GSEC, Microsoft SC-200, Microsoft AZ-500, or equivalent) are considered an asset.
