AS AN OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR A TYPICAL DAY INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

  1. Coaching, training and retaining talent.
  2. Facilitating stockroom operations and supervision of team. Direct all functions related to processing, truck deliveries and allocation of product to departments, adhering to productivity standards
  3. Executing store merchandising direction and standards, product flow, inventory flexing, and store operations functions to ensure consistency of brand experience
  4. Identifying efficiency opportunities, to improve processes as well as implement standards and procedures
  5. Maintaining a high standard for cleanliness and executing all safety best practices
  6. Championing our credit and loyalty programs. Ensure your team can inform, educate, and promote the benefits and offerings that reward our guest and enhance their shopping experience
  7. Understanding and usage of company standard software, systems, and procedures
  8. Inspiring and motivating a team to deliver results through clear and concise feedback and coaching
  9. Creating a sense of teamwork, collaboration, and engagement among associates
  10. Performs other duties as assigned

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A BEALLS OR HOME CENTRIC OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
  2. 1-2 years minimum of supervisory experience preferred
  3. Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  4. Works well both independently and within a team environment
  5. Proven ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  6. Utilization of PDA and POS Systems
  7. Work varying hours and schedules to include early mornings, mid shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  1. Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations
