Position Overview:
Silco Fire amp; Security is seeking a talented and experienced Fire Alarm and Security Operations Manager to elevate our Security and Fire Alarm Division to the next level. This position will require a skilled manager to oversee the efficient operation and delivery of security and fire alarm solutions, inspections, maintenance services and overall professionalism of the operation. As the Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with industry standards, enhancing customer satisfaction, driving operational excellence and partnering with sales.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of technicians and support staff involved in our operations. This includes Technicians, Service Coordinators, Technical Support, Pre-Sales Support and Project Managers amp; Coordinators.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, training, and support to ensure high levels of performance and productivity. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the company’s market share in related services.
  • Focus on high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
P amp;L/Financial Statements:
  • Own and manage your teams P amp;L Financials in order to achieve goals.
  • Manage costs to support revenue.
  • Implement cost control measures and ensure accountability.
  • Manage inventory utilization and local processes to keep costs in line with business demands
  • Grow billed work and maintenance services revenue.
Project Management:
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of system installations, inspections, and maintenance projects.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers to ensure timely completion of projects within budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure processes are followed and adopted by all team members to facilitate a positive customer experience.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national safety codes, regulations, and standards. Conduct regular audits and quality checks to maintain the highest standards of service quality and safety.
Customer Relations:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering positive relationships.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service delivery.
Resource Management:
  • Manage inventory levels, equipment, and resources effectively to support operational requirements and minimize costs.
  • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational processes, enhance efficiency, and streamline workflows.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements to incorporate into operations where applicable.
