Position Summary

We are seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Officer to provide security services at a pharmaceutical facility in Greenwich, CT. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, contractors, and company property while adhering to all site policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas of the pharmaceutical facility.
  • Control access to the site by verifying employee, visitor, and contractor credentials.
  • Conduct routine security inspections and foot patrols.
  • Monitor surveillance systems and security equipment.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
  • Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs.
  • Assist with visitor management and access control procedures.
  • Enforce site policies, safety regulations, and security protocols.
  • Report hazards, suspicious activities, and security concerns to management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional security presence.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous security experience preferred.
  • Valid Connecticut Security Officer Certification (Guard Card) preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
