We are looking for an exceptional Security Guard to join ourteamto support our clients in Brantford, Ontario. area. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment and we are looking for guards that have OPEN availability.

This posting is for Full time vacancy.

Position:Security Guard

Locations: Brantford

Payrate:$18.35 an hour

Shift timings: Monday to Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performing access control provision duties, verifying visitors, working in a reception.

    • Foot patrols inside and outside of the facilities. 

    • Escorting medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters whenrequired.

    • Responding to medical emergencies andbeingprepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.

    • Following security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or otherappropriate personnelwhen security breaches occur.

    • Assistingclientemployees with inquiries and re-directing trespassers. 

    • Covering shifts when needed and assisting with extra coverage. 

    • Following properchain of command and procedures for all matters which require escalation.

    • Performing other duties as directed by the Site Security Supervisor.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License

  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certification. Red Cross certification is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of security protocols and emergency response procedures.

  • Have your own vehicle and Full G driver's license.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and deliver outstanding customer service.

  • Flexible availability. Preference to those that can work different shifts per week.

  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional setting.
