Security USA is a growing security services company providing protection for residential, commercial, nonprofit, government, and retail locations across New York and New Jersey. The company is committed to hiring skilled professionals who deliver high-quality service and help create safe environments for clients.

The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents. This role involves enforcing site policies, observing and reporting suspicious activity, and providing professional customer service to visitors and staff.
 
This position is located in Staten Island, NY.

  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and detect suspicious activity.
  • Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents in a timely manner.
  • Enforce site-specific rules, access control, and security procedures.
  • Check identification and manage entry/exit points.
  • Document incidents, observations, and security concerns accurately.
  • Communicate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
  • Operate security equipment, including cameras, radios, and alarm systems.
  • Provide professional customer service and maintain a visible security presence.

  • Valid New York State Security Guard License required, including 8 and 16 hour certificates.
  • F-02 Certificate of Fitness for Fire Guard for Shelters required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of security guard experience required.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
  • Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic.
