Job description

Position title: Visitor Security Control

Location: Fort Bragg (Fort Liberty), NC

Clearance required: SECRET

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Staff and operate the visitor check-in desk during duty hours.
  • Perform visitor control and badging functions in accordance with Army physical security policies.
  • Verify visitor access and manage information within the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
  • Provide accurate directions, customer service, and support to all incoming personnel.
  • Maintain and update contractor staff information.
  • Ensure adherence to security procedures and support audits or inspections as needed.
  • High school diploma.
  • Defense Information System for Security (DISS) training/certifications.
  • Knowledge of Army Physical Security policies and procedures
  • Customer service skills.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage contractor staff information.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to provide accurate directions to visitors.
  • 1 year of physical security experience.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Physical Security program concepts and theories.
