As an Armed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. This role offers the opportunity to apply your active DoD Secret Clearance while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture with teamwork and integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $27.31 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 05:30 PM - 05:30 AM Sun 05:30 PM - 05:30 AM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. * Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. * Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns. * Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements. * Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activity, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: * An Armed Guard Card/License is required. * An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. * Be at least 21 years of age. * Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Participate in industry-specific security training programs. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
