Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Security Guard / Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) position.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of residents, team members, visitors, and property through proactive patrols, monitoring security cameras, access control, and other life-safety systems. Maintains a visible presence to deter misconduct and promote a safe and secure environment. Responds promptly to medical emergencies, fire alarms, and security incidents, providing basic and advanced pre-hospital emergency medical care within the scope of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification until care is transferred to local emergency responders.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of experience in security, law enforcement, emergency medical services, or a related field
  • Experience in responding to medical emergencies and providing patient assessment and pre-hospital care
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification in good standing (or the ability to obtain certification within six months of employment)
