Job Title: Information Security Analysts
Location: Leander, TX

Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Information Security Analysts to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Monitor, analyze, and prioritize security alerts from SIEM, EDR, network, cloud, identity, and email security platforms.
  2. Investigate suspicious activity, correlate security events, identify indicators of compromise, and assess potential security risks.
  3. Document investigations, escalate confirmed threats, and support incident containment, response, and recovery activities.
  4. Support detection improvements, vulnerability reviews, security procedures, threat intelligence research, and operational reporting.
     

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, security monitoring, incident response, threat detection, security investigations, or related cybersecurity disciplines.

Technical Skills

SIEM, EDR/XDR, Network Security Monitoring, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, KQL/SPL or Query Languages, PowerShell/Python/Bash, Windows & Linux

Business / Domain Skills

Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Detection, Security Event Analysis, Risk Assessment, Cybersecurity Governance

Communication

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Security certifications such as Security+, GCIH, GCIA, SC-200, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications.
