The Securities Lending group within Treasury is responsible for managing Stock Loan, Short Sale, and the Securities Lending Fully Paid (SLFP) products. We interact daily with street level counterparties (prime brokers), Investor Services clients and Advisor Services staff to deliver world class service and drive strong financial performance on behalf of the firm, while ensuring that related regulatory compliance is properly managed.  

The Securities Lending Service team is seeking a service-oriented, strategic thinker with broad industry and investment knowledge who can prioritize client needs, build relationships, and effectively communicate and collaborate across departmental lines. Along with a high attention to detail, relationships and product awareness within the firm and amongst the external firms we transact with. 

What you have
  • Series 7 and 9/10 licenses required. Candidate will be required to obtain licenses after they start if they do not have one. 
  • Series 24 preferred but not required.
  • At least three years of financial industry work experience. 
  • Client contact experience focused on service and sales.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. 
  • Demonstrated experience with complex products and an ability to manage multiple work streams. 
  • Results driven and action oriented, with a goal of business and personal growth. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated experience. 
  • Strong initiative and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

What you'll do:

As a Sr. Specialist for Securities Lending, the candidate will provide a high-level of service while also participating in business development efforts to grow the Securities Lending business.

Specific job responsibilities include: 

  • Become an SME for the SLFP and Short Sale products
  • Provide daily support through the contact channels (Chat and Phone)
  • Support daily operational efforts related to enrollments, activity, and management of the SLFP product.
  • Focus on Business Development opportunities by participating in and organizing client out-reach campaigns.
  • Participate in long term modernization and scalability efforts for SLFP and Short Sale products
  • Effectively provide education to internal and external stakeholders in the way of presentations for the SLFP and Short Sale products.
  • Comply with all rules and Regulations applicable to managing the Securities Lending Business including REG SHO, SEC15c3-3, FINRA 4330.

In addition to the salary range, this position is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
