Job description

Job Summary
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a legal case data portal, with a strong focus on backend services using C# and ASP.NET Core, along with modern frontend development using React and cloud-native solutions on AWS.
We're looking for a React UI developer, ideally full-stack with .NET C# back-end development skills and exposure to working with AWS, to assist with the development of application of a legal case data portal, where users can search and find case data.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core (.NET 6/8)
  • Build responsive and scalable user interfaces using React and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Develop and implement serverless solutions using AWS Lambda (C#)
  • Integrate and consume REST and SOAP-based APIs
  • Apply best practices in dependency injection, middleware, and asynchronous programming
  • Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using NUnit and RestSharp
  • Collaborate effectively within Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Ensure application security, scalability, and performance
Required Qualifications
Frontend:
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience with React.js
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript

Backend:
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in C# and .NET (6/8)
  • Strong experience with ASP.NET Core Web API development
  • Solid understanding of Dependency Injection and async/await programming

API & Integration:
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with model validation, filters, and middleware
  • Experience with SOAP APIs and XML processing is preferred

Testing:
  • Experience with NUnit for unit testing
  • Familiarity with integration testing tools such as RestSharp
  • Experience with JSON serialization (System.Text.Json / Newtonsoft.Json)

Cloud & Serverless:
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS Lambda (C#)
  • Experience with AWS services such as Secrets Manager and SES
  • Understanding of serverless architecture patterns
  • Exposure to OpenSearch is a plus

Containerization & Tools:
  • Experience with Docker and Docker Compose
  • Proficiency with Git and version control practices
  • Experience using Visual Studio
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and API testing tools such as Postman is a plus

Security:
  • Knowledge of AWS security best practices, including IAM and secure secrets management
  • Understanding of data protection standards and secure coding practices
  • Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and authentication/authorization mechanisms is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with microservices and cloud-native architectures
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
