Position Description:
CGI Federal is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to support a large-scale cloud-based analytics and application delivery program. The role focuses on building and deploying secure, cloud-native applications hosted in multi-environment AWS ecosystems. The selected candidate will support backend services, API development, CI/CD automation, and integration with COTS and cloud-native services. This position is located in our Fairfax, VA or Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using modern frameworks and AWS services.
• Build backend APIs (REST/GraphQL), implement server-side logic, and integrate with data stores such as RDS and DynamoDB.
• Support authentication and authorization integrations using approved standards and identity solutions.
• Build and maintain DevSecOps pipelines incorporating code scanning and security controls.
• Containerize workloads with Docker and orchestrate services through ECS or EKS.
• Implement infrastructure automation using AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
• Participate as an embedded member of Agile development teams, supporting sprint ceremonies and coordination activities.
• Support release readiness, testing, and compliance activities.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Experience with full-stack application development in AWS environments.
• Proficiency in APIs, microservices, and containerized deployment models.
• Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines with integrated security tooling.
• US Citizenship and ability to meet federal clearance requirements.
Desired:
• Experience deploying COTS applications within cloud platforms.
• Experience working within regulated or compliance-driven environments.
