Job description

Unarmed Security Officer (Pikesville, MD)

Position Responsibilities

Our Officers are responsible for providing quality physical security at the client site.  Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Following prescribed Standard Operating Procedures for basic and emergency responses
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Liaising with security and building management to communicate, escalate, and solve problems.
  • Creating detailed reports on building activity
  • Patrolling site
  • Performing duties in accordance with Post Orders
  • Controlling/restricting access to the property
  • Responding to major occurrences with intelligence, speed and accuracy

Qualifications

  • Only applicants who have an active MD Guard Card
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have at least 2 years of relevant security experience
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
