Job description

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow SecOps Senior Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) solutions. The ideal candidate will independently drive SecOps implementations, mentor junior developers, collaborate with security teams, and actively participate in architecture review boards by presenting and defending technical designs aligned with enterprise security standards.

Key Responsibilities

·      Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow SecOps solutions including:

o  Security Incident Response (SIR)

o  Vulnerability Response (VR)

o  Threat Intelligence

o  Configuration Compliance

·      Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Flow Designer workflows, UI Policies, ACLs, and integrations.

·      Lead technical solution design, prepare HLD/LLD documents, and support architecture governance processes.

·      Participate in Architecture Review Boards and confidently defend technical designs and implementation strategies.

·      Integrate ServiceNow with security tools such as Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, and SIEM/SOAR platforms.

·      Automate security response and vulnerability remediation workflows.

·      Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and ensure platform scalability and security.

·      Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across the SecOps team.

·      Collaborate with Security Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Infrastructure teams to deliver effective security solutions.

Required Technical Skills

·      8+ years of ServiceNow development experience with 6+ years in SecOps.

·      Strong expertise in:

o  Security Incident Response (SIR)

o  Vulnerability Response (VR)

o  Threat Intelligence

o  CMDB and Discovery

o  IntegrationHub and Flow Designer

o  ServiceNow platform administration and scripting

·      Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, Business Rules, and REST/SOAP integrations.

·      Experience integrating ServiceNow with vulnerability management, endpoint security, SIEM, and threat intelligence platforms.

·      Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, incident response processes, vulnerability management, and security operations.

·      Experience with Agile delivery, Git, and CI/CD practices.

·      Ability to independently lead SecOps implementation activities.

·      Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

·      Strong presentation skills with the ability to influence and defend architectural decisions.

·      Ability to work effectively with security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
