Summary About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. This position is located at Fort Shafter, Honolulu, Hawaii. Responsibilities Develops comprehensive plans and strategies for the internal and external integration of day-to-day and long-range projects, actions, and activities. Responsible for managing the operational schedule of the Command Group Ensures the most efficient and effective support is provided to the Command Group staff in the execution of their responsibilities. Manages staff actions, determines status, prioritizes events, and provides comprehensive status briefs. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by in-depth practical knowledge of the operations, regulations, principles and peculiarities of the assigned organization and its operating programs; analyzing problems to frame the issue, formulating alternatives to reason and presenting recommendations; knowledge of various software types/products, i.e. spreadsheets, word processing graphics and databases in order to complete administrative requirements. OR Education: Ph. D. or equivalent doctoral degree or, 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or, LL.M., if related. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
