CDRR FTC REQUISITION – INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER

The CDRR Training team covers regulatory required training for the Cybersecurity and Information Security Policy as well as the Global Technology Policy. The Instructional Designer will build and/or rebuild engaging online learning solutions, based on content in our current training library. The new courses would be created via in-house tools and Firm assets for design. As needed, they will edit and advise on course scripts. This role partners closely with the CDRR training team and other subject matter experts to modernize learning and driver learner engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable digital learning solutions on regulatory required topics such as cybersecurity and technology procedures.
  • Utilize internal tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Articulate AI Assistant.
  • Partner with subject matter experts, team members, and stakeholders to ensure that the custom courses align with business and training goals.
  • Develop course templates for future learning projects.
  • Maintain and update learning assets and documentation within SharePoint and other internal knowledge platforms.

Skills Required:

  • Instructional design experience for online training.
  • Advanced proficiency in Articulate Storyline 360, Rise, and Adobe Creative Suite as well as AI authoring tools.
  • Understanding of Accessibility Standards (WCAG).
  • Experience using collaboration and content management platforms such as SharePoint, Jive, and MS 365 tools.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to simplify technical material into learner-friendly content.
  • Ability to collaborate with senior SMEs to develop and refine learning solutions.

Optional/Preferred Skills:

  • Administrative and/or reporting experience with Cornerstone on Demand.
  • Background in Cybersecurity, Technology, or Compliance training.
