We have an employee who will be out starting January. We are looking for someone to work Monday-Friday from 8AM-4:30PM. At this moment, I am not sure what the pay will be, but will let you know in a timely manner.

Position Summary
The Cafeteria Stock Keeper is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring that all food, beverage, and supply items are properly received, stored, rotated, and distributed within the college cafeteria. This role supports kitchen and service staff by ensuring timely availability of products and maintaining a clean, organized storage environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management
    • Track stock levels of food, beverages, disposables, and cleaning supplies.
    • Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
    • Monitor expiration dates and rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) processes.
  • Receiving & Distribution
    • Receive deliveries, verify quantities and quality of items, and document discrepancies.
    • Label, date, and store incoming items in designated storage areas.
    • Deliver supplies to kitchen staff and service stations as needed.
  • Storage & Organization
    • Maintain orderly dry storage, refrigerator, and freezer areas.
    • Ensure all products are stored safely according to food safety guidelines.
    • Keep storage areas clean and clear of hazards.
  • Safety & Compliance
    • Follow college, state, and federal food safety standards.
    • Maintain proper temperature logs and sanitation requirements.
    • Report any damaged products or equipment issues promptly.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Communicate inventory needs to supervisors and kitchen staff.
    • Assist with special events, catering, and seasonal inventory adjustments.
    • Support cafeteria operations during busy periods when requested.
Qualifications
