Job description

Job Summary:

Snug Harbor Marina is a locally owned and operated company for over 21 years servicing Chautauqua Lake and surrounding bodies of waters throughout the area. We sell and service Chaparral, Bennington, Cobalt, Robalo boats, MerCruiser, Yamaha Outboards, Honda Outboards, and Volvo penta engines as well as many other brands and preowned boats. As our service and parts departments grow, we would like to add a Service and Parts Associate to aid with day to day operations.
Work Hours/Days: 

-Seasonal fulltime position, April thru October Hours: M-F 9am-5pm, Saturday 9am-3pm, Sunday 10am-2pm
-Schedule to be discussed upon hire.
Responsibilities of the Service Writer/Advisor: 

-Respond to in-person, telephone and electronic mail requests from customers for service, some warranty and other marine related issues.
-Open and close work orders for customer requested service -Parts department stocking, ordering and inventory maintenance.
-Assist the process of customer requests for summer dock rental, winter storage and service.
-Process, submit and monitor manufacturer warranty claims. -Process, monitor and coordinate manufacturer service bulletins and recall service directives.
Skills and Qualifications Desired: 

-Knowledge of Windows based computers and software.
-Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook) -Operation of general office equipment -Multi-tasking (ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously)
-Prioritization, and the ability to adjust work as the need arises.
-Boats and marine environment knowledge would be very helpful.
-Knowledge of automotive or marine service department operations.
Pay Rate: $18 / Hour
